The iconic business person of Bangladesh, Mr. Hossain is also the Managing Director Mir Ceramic Limited, Mir Akhter Hossain Limited and Mir Holdings Limited. Mr. Nasir Hossain, a former President of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), the apex trade organization of Bangladesh, is also Director of Eastern Bank Limited, the successor of now-defunct BCCI branch in Bangladesh and Agrani Insurance Company Limited. A two times alumni of University of Dhaka with an Masters in Management, Mr. Hossain is also the former Senior Vice President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and is actively engaged in various social works, most notable of which is his Life Membership of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and he generously contributes to many other hospitals and orphanages.
A retired Brigadier General of Bangladesh Army, Mr. Hannan had a long illustrious career in Bangladesh Army where he commanded up to brigade level force both at home and abroad. An officer of Corp of Signals, he was involved in policy formulation, planning and implementation of communication for Bangladesh Army and UN Peace Keeping Forces working in Middle-East and Europe. He was also a leading member in designing and preparation of National Voter List and National ID Card project of Bangladesh in 2008. Mr. Hannan, an MBA from Royal Roads University of Canada, is an alumni of National Defense University of both USA and China and also holds Masters degree in Defense Studies apart from undergoing multi-disciplinary training courses at home and abroad. He has conducted multi-disciplinary training modules across Europe, Asia and America. He concurrently actively contributes in promoting the spirit of ICRC in different international forum.
